Funeral Director Won’t Face Charges After Shooting Intruder

casket.jpgUNION, S.C. — Authorities say a 37-year-old funeral director in Union will not face charges for shooting an intruder. Scott Lewis says he was embalming a body early Wednesday morning when someone broke into Lewis Funeral Home, threatened to kill him and demanded money. Lewis says he told the man he had cash in his van and when the two went out to the vehicle, he pulled his gun out of a bag and shot the would-be robber.Authorities say 26-year-old Tracey Bishop is at an Upstate hospital recovering from a gunshot to his left arm. Deputies say he will be charged with second-degree burglary and attempted armed robbery when he is released.

WHAT!!!!!!!!!! Oh Lord! Please don’t ruin the funeral. Lord knows I love a good homegoing. So you mean to tell me you cant even take your loved one to be embalmed without someone coming in and threatening to kill the funeral director. THE POPE OF PENTECOST IS NOT PLEASED!!!!!!!!! Lord have mercy! Dont have me take off of work and go on yet ANOTHER funeral leave for this person. JESUS!!!!!!!!!
