TESTIFY Brother Antoine Taylor Cause Acts 2:38 Is Still Right!

I wanted to share this with all of my readers. Literally, I was in the airport about to work a flight and I was going through my phone and noticed that I had not checked one particular email that a friend had sent to me from youtube. When I tell you, I immediately began to feel the fire burning in my very soul concerning this young mans testimony. I said to myself “This must go on The Pope Of Pentecost blog a.s.a.p.” I had been feeling really discouraged because I am in a new city and I really want to go to a traditional apostolic church. Its just so many “huge” churches in Dallas Texas, I really did not know where to begin. On one hand, I don’t want to be a part of a traditional ministry that is not growing, but on another end, I don’t want to go to the 10,000 member church where anything goes yet you have a slamming choir and organist and 200 ministries for me to join.

After hearing Brother Antoine’s testimony, I came to the conclusion that the Acts 2:38 message was the only way for me to go, that I was not going to compromise because of size, fame or fortune, that speaking in tongues is still the evidence of the Holy Ghost and that YOU ARE NOT going to heaven unless you are born of the Water and of the Spirit. No shaking the preachers hand, no massive altar call where everyone repeats the “Sinners Prayer” and poof you are now saved.  Read 1 Peter 3:21 which clearly states “The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ” You got to hit the water SAINTS! You are not saved unless you come the water way. Baptism in Jesus Name (in water) and Baptism of the Holy Ghost! Its simple.

With that in mind, putting away denominational differences, organizational corruption and the like, let us continue to do it the Bible Way according to Acts 2:38! “Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.”
