Pentecostal Perspective: Four Habits Of A Disciple

How can I become a disciple? Colossians 3:9-10:Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds; And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:

1. TIME WITH GOD’S WORD

John 8:31-32: Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

2. PRAYER AND FASTING

John 15:7-8: If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciple

3. FELLOWSHIP

John 13:34-35: So now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other. Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.”

4. STEWARDSHIP

Luke 14:33:So you cannot become my disciple without giving up everything you own.
