The Gospel Categories
The 51st Annual Grammy Award nominations were announced on December 3, 2008. The ceremonies will be broadcast live on CBS Television from Los Angeles on February 8, 2009.
In brief, eligibility is limited to those recordings released during the period of October 1, 2007 through September 30, 2008.

The Soweto Gospel Choir was nominated in the Best Traditional World Music category, for their album, Live At The Nelson Mandela Theater.
