TGIF… lets talk about that Tiger Woods Apology….ha ha ha

We made it Saints! Thank God It’s Friday! I’m taking off for the day but will finish up our “Did You Know” series tomorrow. We will talk about Western Religions (i.e. Mormons and Jehovah’s Witnesses). In the mean time, feel free to use this space to express your celebrity frustrations on that Tiger Woods…. have fun….lol (just trying to keep everything light hearted thats all)

Keep your comments HOLY (but tell the truth and shame the devil)!

  1. Of course, I don’t want people like Mr. & Mrs. Woods being the type of people my children wanting to emulate and be like. Immodest lifestyles, unholy living, and so forth. On the other hand, they are a married couple and what happens within their marriage stays there (in their marriage) with the handful (clergypeople, therapists, their parents) of people they may choose to share problems with.

  2. Since when, an an Apostolic Pentecostal, am I actually swayed by what a wordly athlete (Mr. Woods) and a Model/Actress (Mrs. Woods) do?

Outside of “sand-lot” softball and football in someone’s backyard, I’m not into competitive sports (for holiness people competitive sports are a wordly diversion) and my wife and daughters would rather let the glory of the Lord shine through them, instead of masking it all away with make-up that has them looking like clowns (like models and actresses do).

  3. On the other hand, he groveled about as much as anyone could be expected to grovel. Who’s to say if it’s sincere or not? Perhaps, as the previous commenter implied, the greater hypocricy lies in a society that somehow feels it has a right to measure his repentance, or even a right to pry in to his affairs in the first place.

  4. If Tiger was a Christian, this would have never occurred. He doesn’t need to apologize to the public, his situation is between Him, his wife, and God.
