We are deeply saddened to inform you about the passing of Bishop A. Michael Dixon, Sr. the pastor of Refuge One-Way Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ located in Rocky Mount, NC and the State of North Carolina Diocese District Overseer.
Bishop Dixon the former Chairman of the International Board of Presbyters was an energetic leader who loved the Lord and has served faithfully in different leadership capacities within the Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ. He leaves a lasting legacy with his spirit of servant hood. He is the son of District Elder Alfred and Mother Dixon.
Please keep his wife Dawn, children: Rebekah, Rachel, Ruth, and Michael, Jr., grandchildren, parents, siblings, and the Refuge One-Way Church family in your prayers.

This email is in regards to the upcoming Celebration of Life for Bishop A. Michael Dixon. On Friday evening, August 6, 2010 the NC Metropolitan Diocese Choir COOLJC will render music ministry for the memorial service honoring Bishop A. Michael Dixon. Saturday, August 7, 2010 the Internationl Choir COOLJC will render music ministry for the official homegoing celebration. ALL are encouraged to support both choirs.
The attire for Friday night is any combination of black and white. I am reqeusting that all choir members arrive no later than 5:00 p.m. for prayer, final instruction, and to be seated.
