Concerning Holiness…..

I am more convinced today that the majority of Christian Religious organizations have clearly forgotten that the only way to see Jesus in the rapture is to live holy. Even the local holiness churches are starting to compromise truth and in turn are preaching erroneous doctrines across their pulpit on Sunday mornings (and Saturday’s for those of you who keep the 7th day Sabbath).

Hear me now and hear me well, HOLINESS IS ETERNAL! It changes not! It will never be abolished. Disease, pain, misery, and eventual death are soon to cease but HOLINESS will stand forever. It’s clear to me that the only “spirit” that is leading Pastors and lay members to stop preaching Holiness is the “spirit of untruth” which comes from the Devil himself.

Open up your bibles and lets see exactly what the Bible says concerning holiness. Hebrews 12:14 clearly says “Follow peace with all [men], and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:” I can’t seem to understand how the church has scratched this scripture out of the Bible (amongst others scriptures as well). Since when did you hear Jesus while on earth preach about houses, cars, land, fame and fortune and the like????? Here is how I see it, if I have already been promised by Christ Himself that I will obtain all the riches when He returns for me, why in the world do I need to attempt to obtain worldly fame and fortune which is going to pass away? I don’t get it. I have learned to be content in whatever state I am in knowing that God who is the author and finisher of my faith will always supply all of my needs according to His riches in glory. Now don’t get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with a nice house, a nice car and a great secular career, but Saints, that is not your focus. Your focus is to live Holy for 2 reasons and 2 reasons only. Your to live Holy so that people can see Jesus in you & your to live Holy so YOU can see Jesus when He comes back. Dont be fooled by falsehoods that abound. The devil would have you to believe that no one is living holy anymore but once again he is a lying wonder. God has a remnant church here on earth, a church not made by mans hand, a church that is pure and righteous, and within this church are people who are sold out to Christ.

Every week now you’re seeing Pastors being called home to be with the Lord (not all of them are gone on to be in the presence of the Lord, but I do pray the majority made it in). Not only are Pastors dying but if you watch and or read your local news (for those that don’t have television) it is clear sin abounds world-wide. Now if the devil knows he only has but a little time left before he goes straight to hell, why is it the church seems clueless about the coming of the Lord?

I want to encourage each and every one of you to be that holy beacon of light that God has called you to be. Saints, we must work while its day for when night cometh, no man can work. Walk with Holy Boldness. Tell others about the only means to be saved (that is, being born of water and spirit). Tell them that they must be baptised in Jesus Name, the only saving Name given unto men. Tell them that they must speak in tongues, as this is the initial evidence that the Holy Ghost has taken up residence on the inside. Remember, NO TONGUES, NO CROWN! Then tell them to go on to perfecting holiness by living a clean and sanctified life (which the Holy Ghost will cause them to live this way) and to share their faith about the soon coming of the Lord. Be a foot soldier for the cause of Christ. Make it your business to live for Christ. It’s for God I live and for God I die. Burn with the fire of the Holy Ghost that’s on the inside of you, burn until it burns everything up that’s not like God out of your life. Finally, cherish being a Holy people, a peculiar people and finally a chosen generation. God chose you, so do your part by choosing to live for Him, in the beauty of Holiness.

P.S.  If the angels in heaven say “Holy Holy Holy” 24/7, what gives you the right to stop preaching holiness???? Heaven is a Holy place and if you don’t like holiness here on earth then you’ll surly not like heaven because heaven is a holy place, a place where only the sanctified will enter. Get it together people of God. It’s still HOLINESS….or……that other place that’s burning hot! I’m going to preach it until my jaw falls off, holiness is right!

  1. A very timely subject to write about, Brother! As one of those individuals that has been around Pentecost a while (about 40 years), I sincerely never thought Apostolics would see the time when precious truths of salvation and holiness became “up for debate”. While attempting to be “relevant” (which is not some concoction mixed just perfect, but an atmosphere in the Holy Ghost that comes when His people humble themselves and pray), many have thrown the “baby out with the bathwater.”

Everyone love to quote Hebrews 13:8 – “Jesus Christ, the same yesterday, today, and forever.” While we are busily shouting over that Scripture, are we realizing we are saying that “if God was holy 50 years ago, He’s still holy today?”

“God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto Himself and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation” (2 Corinthians 5:19). Not only is this Scripture extolling the manifestation of the One True God (of which Truth many Apostolics need to “revisit”), but the ministry of reconciliation He has entrusted to His church. We are His ambassadors! His earthly messengers! His representatives! Are we presenting Him as the One True and Holy God in action, deed, and lifestyle – or turning a lost and sinful – but sincere – world off by being hypocrites?

  2. PREACH!!!!!!!!

*hammond b-3 organ cranking up in the background*

I could not have said it better myself @OneGod1

  3. Excellent article. The only ‘change’ I would suggest is to tell them that they WILL speak in tongues when they receive the Holy Ghost. If, in altar work, we point out that this is part of a natural supernatural progression that WILL occur when they believe.

  4. @Jack E Simon DD
Your right! I did not think to include that. I guess I didnt because there are sooooooooooo many articles and post on my blog concerning the Gift of the Holy Ghost (tongues included) I just shortened my explanation to keep my writers flow going.

  5. Praise The Lord bro. Wanted to know if you could do a post on the ” movie theatre” tried looking for material and asked preachers but they all direct me to psalm 1. Please and thank you, Jesus Christ bless you!
